Tyttra products are food supplements, not medicines. Tyttra does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and does not replace your doctor. This disclaimer forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. What Tyttra is and isn't
Tyttra is a wellness service that builds a personalised food supplement plan from your answers, your wearable data and any blood results you choose to share. It helps you take that plan consistently.
Tyttra is not:
- a medical device or a medicine;
- a medical consultation, a diagnosis or a prescription;
- a substitute for treatment recommended by your doctor. Never stop taking prescribed medication because of Tyttra.
Food supplements are regulated in Portugal by Decree-Law no. 136/2003 and are intended to complement a normal diet.
2. Talk to your doctor before starting if you:
- are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive;
- take any medication, especially blood thinners, thyroid medication, antidepressants, antibiotics or medication for blood pressure or diabetes;
- have a chronic condition, for example kidney, liver, cardiovascular or autoimmune disease;
- have surgery scheduled;
- have food allergies or intolerances;
- are following another treatment or already take other supplements.
Show your doctor your plan in the app. If anything changes in your health or medication, update it in the app and speak to your doctor again.
3. How to take your supplements
- Do not exceed the daily dose shown in the app and on the label.
- Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Keep out of reach of children. The service is only for adults aged 18 or over.
- Always read the label, including ingredients and allergens.
- Store sachets and products in a cool, dry place and use them before the expiry date.
- Do not share your plan with anyone else. It was made for you.
4. Blood results, wearables and BioScore
- Blood results: the values you enter are used only to personalise your plan. Tyttra does not interpret blood tests clinically. Always discuss your results with your doctor.
- Wearables: sleep, recovery, heart rate and activity data come from third-party devices. They may contain errors and are not medical measurements.
- BioScore and check-ins: these are wellness indicators to help you follow your progress. They are not clinical tools.
- Results: results vary from person to person. Timeframes shown in the app are estimates, not guarantees.
- Claims: health claims about our products follow Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 and Regulation (EU) No 432/2012.
5. Athletes and anti-doping
Our batches are tested for banned substances, but no test removes every risk. If you compete under anti-doping rules, you are responsible for what you take. Check each supplement with your doctor or federation and consult the Portuguese Anti-Doping Authority (ADoP, www.adop.pt) before starting.
6. Adverse reactions
If you notice any unexpected effect, stop taking the supplement and speak to your doctor. Please also tell us at support@tyttra.app so we can review your plan. You can also report the effect to DGAV (www.dgav.pt), the Portuguese authority for food supplements.
7. Emergencies
Tyttra is not an emergency service and does not monitor your health in real time.
In an emergency, call 112.
